Abstract
Accordingly, one object of this invention is to provide a new, improved magnetostrictive material. Another object of this invention is to provide a new material having an improved magnetomechanical coupling factor. A further object of this invention is to provide improved magnetostrictive transducer elements having high coupling factors. Yet another objective of this invention is to provide new improved sonar transmitting and receiving devices. Yet a further object of this invention is to provide new, improved passive sonar listening devices.
