Robotic Order Picking.

Abstract

This invention relates to a system for, and a method of, automatically filling an order for a kit of a plurality of constituent smal component parts and more particularly to picking said kit parts, and thereby filling said order, with the use of a robot arm having gripping hand finger members. Thus, the order for the kit of parts is filled accurately, quickly, easily and without the cost-ineffective use of a human parts of picker-order filler.
