Flexible Electrochemical Heater.

Abstract

It is, an object of the present invention to provide a simple, low cost fabrication and self-contained heat source which is easily activated, non-complex, lightweight, compact, strong, and stands alone without the need for containment packaging of active materials. Another object of this invention is to provide a simple effective technique for heating military field rations and the like which is not toxic, is self-contained, is compact, and does not produce a flame. A further object is to provide a heat source using micro electrochemical cells for warming various parts of the human body.
