Fluoroamine Curing Agents for Fluoroepoxy Resins.

Abstract

It is an object of this invention to produce easily used, compatible and effective curing agents for fluoroepoxy resins. It is another object of this invention to produce curing agents, for fluoroepoxy resins which do not significantly dilute the fluorine content of the resins. It is a further object of this invention to produce a cured fluoroepoxy resin which is self-extinguishing. These and the other objects are accomplished by reacting a fluorinated diglycidyl ether with a large stoichiometric excess of a non-fluorinated polyfunctional amine.
