Method of Minimizing the Aging Rate of an Oscillator.

Abstract

The aging rate of an oscillator is minimized by applying a high drive current to the resonator early in the oscillators life until the aging rate decreases to a low value and then applying a low drive current to the resonator for the rest of the oscillators life at a constant temperature. (Author)
