Selective Detection of Species in Complex Matrices by SIMS (Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry).

Abstract

A method is described of analyzing for selected molecules in a sample which consists of reacting the molecule with a reagent that produces a charged derivative which can be desorbed and analyzed using Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry.
