Parallel Local Interface Bus.

Abstract

A modulat parallel local interface bus provides a two-way interface between a microprocessor and a plurality of distributed signal processing units which are controlled by the microprocessor. Likewise, the microprocessor is enabled to read operational parameter data from sensors in the signal processing units. In this way, a plurality of discrete signal processing units may be controlled to perform required RF transmit-receive functions. The units may also be monitored for any operational problems which could develop. (Author)
