Light Socket Removal Tool.
Abstract
This invention relates to tools for the repair and removal of light sockets having bayonet type receptacles. The invention comprises a tool for simplifying the removal of a light socket having a bayonet type receptacle. The tool comprises a cylindrical shaft having mating pins positioned for insertion into the bayonet type receptacle. The mating pins register with notches in the receptacle in order to firmly position the shaft within the receptacle. The tool and the light socket receptacle are then held stationary with a handle portion during removal of socket fasteners.
