A Hybrid Neural Network and Feature Extraction Technique for Target Recognition.

Abstract

An image scene sensed from different viewing angles for image data acquisition purposes in a target identifying system provides data from which target features are extracted, the extracted data being evaluated in an artificial neural network to identify a target at a location within the image scene from which the different viewing angles extend.
