Article for Delivering Pharmacological Agents Using Bipolar Tetraether Lipids.

Abstract

An article for the delivery of pharmacologically active agents having a pharmacologically active agent and a vesicle made from an assembly of bipolar tetraether lipids surrounding the pharmacologically active agent. The pharmacologically active agent is delivered by surrounding the pharmacologically active agent with a liposome made from bipolar tetraether lipids, and orally or parenterally delivering this agent.
