Bridge Configuration for a Magneto-Resistive Linear-Displacement Sensor

Abstract

A thermal bridge includes a first Giant Magneto Resistance film having a layer with a fixed bias pointing in a first direction, and a second Giant Magneto Resistance film superposed on, and in thermal engagement with, the first Giant Magneto Resistance film. The second Giant 5 Magneto Resistance film has a layer with a fixed bias pointing in a second direction opposite to the first direction.
