Switch Particularly Suited for Image Intensifier Tube System

Abstract

A cathode switch particularly suited for an image intensifier tube (IIT) is disclosed. The cathode switch provides cathode pulses to turn 'on' and turn 'of' the IIT tube and does so with reduced power consumption and with reduced noise generated by associated high voltage switching.
