Symbolic Matching of Images and Scene Models,
Abstract
In this paper we explore the application of a general relaxation based matching procedure to the problem of matching pairs of images and the extension of basic techniques to matching hierarchical descriptions of scenes. These problems require extension to the general graph matching procedure which account for the special properties of the given task. The efficiency of the matching program is greatly improved by including these changes. (Author)
