Use of Word Processing in Data Development and Review,

Abstract

With the Widespread availability of word processing within business, the government and the homes of many engineers, it has become increasingly apparent that this tool could be used effectively to reduce the high costs of contractual data preparation and review while simultaneously improving the quality of this data. This paper addresses the use of word processing and an NTEC program. The primary objective is to reduce the total cost and elapsed time of the preparation-through-acceptance (PTA) cycle of the contractual documents.
