Survey of Remote Sensing Techniques for Wave Measurement,

Abstract

A brief review of the principles of remote sensing techniques for ocean waves is offered followed by a summary of remote sensing instruments and recent results. The last section discusses new approaches to wave studies in light of newly available information and promising developments.
