An Update on Dredging Activities in the Pacific Northwest,

Abstract

This paper provides a brief update on some of the major dredging-related activities in the Pacific Northwest. Four items were briefly discussed--Mt. St. Helens, Jetties, Dredging Plant and Studies. I hopefully exposed a view that traditional fears of water quality degradation resulting from dredging-related activities are, for the most part, unfounded.
