Abstract
As fiber optic technology develops and applications increases, greater attention is centered on instrumentation to monitor characteristics and performance of the individual components and of the system. In this paper on the fiber optic instrumentation, special emphasis is given to the needs for instrumentation to be used under typical field conditions. (Author)
