Force Analysis Simulation of Theater Administrative and Logistic Support (FASTALS),

Abstract

The purpose of the Force Analysis Simulation of Theater Administrative and Logistic Support (FASTALS) Model is to compute the combat service support requirements that are associated with a hypothesized military operation. Ultimately the output from the model is a balanced and time-phased troop list of units which have been geographically distributed in a theater of operations. This troop list identifies all the combat, nondivisional combat, and support to combat units employed in a single theater of operations to accomplish a projected mission.
