Counseling Soldiers on TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) Results and Career Education Plans,

Abstract

The Army's Basic Skills Education Program (BSEP) is designed to reduce educational deficiencies that hinder soldiers' military duty performance. The key factors in accomplishing this mission are counseling and instruction. This paper will address the counseling function and the use of the Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE) at various stages in that counseling process.
