Systems Approach to Training - A Management Model,
Abstract
This paper describes the progress to date in the design and implementation of a model for a systematic approach to training, such as an Instructional Systems Development (ISD) type system, across the civilian departments of the Canadian government. Our experiences will be of interest to other organizations that include a number of heterogeneous operations and functions and use training as a human resource management tool. (Author)
