Performance Appraisers as Test Developers,

Abstract

Our current research emphasis on the appraisal process and the impact of organizational context variables may reach the same end. All past and current efforts to improve the quality of performance appraisals may be doomed to failure because they fail to take into account the demands of the appraisal task on the appraiser. That is, the appraisal process requires appraisers to be good test developers. (Author)
