Use of Delphi-Based Interdisciplinary Goals for Evaluating Course Outcomes,

Abstract

The present study raises the interesting possibility of studying relationships between attainment of course-specific objectives and the attainment of interdisiplinary objectives. We are currently conducting follow-up research to measure cadet perceptions of both course emphases (actual and ideal) and of their own attainments in each course. If the interdisciplinary ethics and professionalism program is aiding cadet development, we would expect to find improved self-perceptions of cadet attainments on these interdisciplinary objectives over the four year program.
