Calculation of Legendre Functions on the Cut for Integral Order and Complex Degree by Means of Gauss Continued Fractions,

Abstract

These functions are required for the calculation of biorthogonal functions for the hollow cone as required for solving problems in elasticity and rheology. The associated legendre functions on the cut for integral order and complex degree are required for several important calculation of biharmonic functions for the hollow cone.
