Power Testing of Duroid Stripline Antennas and Associated Circuits,

Abstract

Power testing at microwave frequencies requires elaborate test facilities with significant cost factors. Thus, each test must be designed for maximum utility and output. This paper presents the results and analysis of tests designed to reveal the safe and upper limits of stripline antenna circuits under CW power up to 100 watts at 12 GHz, for altitudes from 1,000 to 70,000 feet with chamber ambient temperatures from 20 degrees to 125 degrees C.
