Design Methodology for Bonded-Bolted Composite Joints,

Abstract

Report Objectives: A4EI For Bonded Joints--Elastic-Plastic Adhesive Behavior; Stepped or Uniform Adherends; Variable Adhesive Thickness; Variable Adhesive Properties(Flaws and Porosity), and Residual Thermal Stresses. A4EJ For Bolted Joints--Load Sharing in Multirow Joints; Bearing/ByPass Interaction for Strength Prediction; Nonlinear Fastened Deflection Characteristics; Nonlinear Adhered Behavior, and Stepped or Uniform Members. A4EK For Bonded-Bolted Joints-All of the above features, except yielding adherends.
