Multinationals, Intelligence and Development,

Abstract

A number of rules useful in developing an effective intelligence for interactions with the MNCs can be established. Assuming that in the strategic development plans the possible contributions of MNCs are assessed, the central task of the intelligence organisation is to devise ways to optimise these contributions and minimise the threats the MNCs represent. The operational plans for such intelligence in various phases of interaction with MNCs should be related creatively to the threat-opportunity problems.
