Further Development in SC Cut Crystal Resonator Technology,

Abstract

This is probably our last paper in a series of papers on the development of a vibration resistant crystal unit, in particular, an SC cut crystal unit with a low magnitude of the acceleration sensitivity vector. In previous talks, in addition to design data, we have discussed the fabrication and measurement of doubly oriented and triply oriented SC blanks with special emphasis on the use of X-ray to measure precisely the orientation angles, and on test methods to determine, in a reasonable amount of time, the acceleration coefficients.
