The Role of Boating and Waterways in Aquatic Plant Management in the Delta,

Abstract

This report will present a little background on the Delta and the nature of California's waterhyacinth problem. It will explain how the state's recreational boating agency (Cal Boating) got involved in battling the hyacinth and how the management program involved with regards to the many concerns that Californians had on the use of herbicides in the Delta.
