Tabular Methods for the Design of CCD (Charge-Coupled Devices) Multiple-Valued Circuits,

Abstract

A tabular method for the design of multiple-valued CCD circuits is introduced which produces less expensive realizations with a significantly smaller table than a method proposed by Robroek and Kerkhoff and Robroek. In addition, a universal cost table method is shown which produces even less expensive realizations, but which has a considerably longer table. Further, a flexible CCD circuit is shown which produces any unary function by a simple adjustment of voltage levels. (Author)
