The Optimization of GMC (Generalized Reed-Muller Canonical) over GF(p),

Abstract

This paper deals with the obtaining and optimization of the Generalized Reed-Muller Canonical form (GMC) of p-valued logical functions. The basic ideas involved are the linear transforms of logical functions over GF(p) and the processing of the spectra thus obtained. The basic concern is with the convenience of the calculation rather than the analyticity of the process, so that they can be easily implemented using a digital computer. (Author)
