The Use of Flight Recorders in the Investigation of Aircraft Mishaps,

Abstract

Some problems that have been encountered in the recovery of information from flight recorders for the investigation of aircraft mishaps are described. Techniques for rapid dissemination of the information to investigators are illustrated. Future developments in the design of voice and data recorders are discussed. (Author)
