Abstract

On 21 May 1982, President Reagan signed Public Law 97-177, the Prompt Payment Act, which has an objective of timely contract payment. Since the Act was implemented nearly one year ago, the question is: Does the Prompt Payment Act Insure Timely Contract Payment? This report addresses this question.
