Qaddafi Has One of Our Nukes or Some Things We Need to Know about Behavioral Science and Security,
Abstract
The battle for peace is vital to our national interest. Our nuclear deterrent is critical to winning that battle. Security is a major factor in keeping that nuclear deterrent viable. Vulnerabilities do exist including those in the areas the author has identified: human response to equipment- related problems and prediction of human response under stress. The author believes that behavioral science and security practitioners can develop tools to help cope with these problems.
