Managing a Low Quantity, High Technology Trainer Development Program,

Abstract

To effectively manage a low quantity, high technology trainer development program, the program management team must consider a variety of trade-offs during the development cycle. These trade-offs stem from the fact that a limited production trainer is neither a prototype nor a production line unit. This paper presents the issues and trade-offs which should be addressed by the program management team prior to and during the trainer development program. (Author)
