User-Friendly Software: The Role of the User,

Abstract

This paper presents a definition of the term user-friendly as it relates to computer software-human interaction. The software generation process, the various types of computer software users, and the role users should play in the software generation process are described. The author strongly recommends direct involvement on the part of the user(s) of computer software systems. (Author)
