Phase Error Effects on the Radiation Patterns of Space-Fed Planar Phased Arrays,

Abstract

The effects of the quantization and collimation phase errors on the radiation patterns of planar phased arrays fed optically through radar horns, are discussed in this paper. Based on the results calculated for an array configuration, it has been established that the collimation phase error can be utilized in reducing the array sidelobe levels. (Author)
