Galileo Spacecraft Modal Test and Evaluation of Testing Techniques,

Abstract

In this paper, the Galileo spacecraft whose mission is to conduct scientific exploration of the planet Jupiter. It is to be launched by the space shuttle and a modified Centaur Upper Stage in 1986. In this paper, the Galileo spacecraft modal test requirements were described. Also, the associated pre-test activities from which the test was designed were presented.
