Design of a Dynamometer for Testing Yacht Models,
Abstract
Servo systems with force and position feedback are very useful in dynamometer design for hydrodynamic research on yachts. The adopted dynamometer at NSMB allows the number of required test runs to be minimized and the most realistic test set-up to be achieved, resulting in accurate test results.
