Primary Prevention and the Military or Where is the Broad Street Pump Now?

Abstract

No disorder, disease, or human affliction has even been eliminated by treating its victims. Limiting one's focus to treatment (as opposed to prevention) only quarantees a steady flow of patients. While some people argue that this economic factor is crucial in the private practice environment, it clearly has no bearing on military psychology.
