Potential Applications of Forced Unsteady Flows,

Abstract

Forced unsteady flows are examined from the point of view of potential application of new devices which are made possible by the improved understanding of these flows. In particular, flows are examined which require no external driver but obtained their energy from the freestream velocity. Other flows require no moving parts at all to generate the unsteadiness.
