Considerations for Millimeter Wave, Monolithic Phased Arrays,

Abstract

Some candidate elements for millimeter wave, monolithic phased arrays are discussed. Results of analytical and experimental investigations of printed antennas on high permittivity substrates are presented and discussed in relation to EHF array performance. Scan impedance and blindness are evaluated by analysis and experiment. Methods for interfacing active devices such as FETs with candidate arrray elements are also discussed. (Author)
