A Comparison of Methods for Estimating Nutrient Release from Lake Sediments,

Abstract

This paper discusses four methods for estimating the rate of NH4-N release from sediment. Precision of the NH4-N release rate determination was compared by examining the variances among the laboratory sediment core method, the in situ sediment core method, the in situ chamber method, and the mathematical model method.
