Rapid Response Deluge System,

Abstract

The development of a rapid response deluge system by the Ammunition Equipment Directorate (AED) for use in suppressing propellant fires during demil shows great promise. Prototype systems have been tested and data acquired on their efficiencies. Present system vs. previous generations and lessons learned are discussed.
