Computerized Data Acquisition for Testing Composite Materials,

Abstract

Until recent years, testing of composite materials was difficult if monitoring multiple channels of instrumentation was required. Computer systems have greatly simplified the task of data acquisition and reduction and allow more complex test set-ups to be monitored. This paper describes two computerized data acquisition systems used for monitoring composite materials tests and the software developed for data reduction and graphic presentation.
