Wind Tunnel and Flight Test Analysis and Evaluation of the Buffet Phenomena for the Alpha Jet Transonic Wing,

Abstract

Results of local flow surveys on the wing in the buffeting region are presented. The vibration levels on the wing and at the pilot's seat are also shown. The paper presents the separated effects of the slats in use both with and without trailing edge flaps as manoeuvre flaps up to the transonic flight regime.
