Issues Raised by the National Toxicology Program 'Ad Hoc Panel on Chemical Carcinogenesis Testing and Evaluation': NTP (National Toxicology Program's) Response,

Abstract

The National Toxicology Program's (NTP) preliminary response to the recommendations in the Report of the Ad Hoc Panel on Carcinogenesis Testing and Evaluation is discussed. Since some issues are discussed in more than one Subpanel report, I have organized this response around specific issues and will discuss the ones I think are of primary interest to this audience. First, the NTP has or is implementing currently over 90% of these recommendations. Issues raised included: Chemical selection and Prechronic and chronic studies.
