Aluminum Laminated Polyethylene Loose Tube Optical Fiber Unit,

Abstract

Aluminum laminated polyethylene loose tube was found to have stable performance not only against temperature changes but also against lateral pressure. Excess length of fiber in this pipe was found to be determined mainly by small elastic limit of aluminum and a new mechanism of controlling excess length has been clarified. (Author)
