Characterization of the Electrical Effects of Dielectric Core Wraps Used in Copper Telecommunications Cables,

Abstract

Difference data is presented on the measurement of key transmission parameters for twisted pair copper telecommunication cables using polyester (mylar) and polyolefin (polypropylene) core wrap materials. Results show there is no practical difference in transmission performance for such cables. (Author)
