V-Band Space-Based Radar Antennas,

Abstract

State-of-the-art technology and the related design considerations for V-band solid-state phased array antennas are presented in this paper. One approach, with highly integrated tray modules comprised of 20-30 transmit/receive monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs), also is discussed as well as the factors involved in configuring such complex modules into arrays.
