Development of the Dutch Policy Concerning Dredged Material Disposal,

Abstract

As a case history I will describe to you the Dutch policy in the Rotterdam Harbour region concerning dredged material disposal, as it developed through the years. Then I would like to make some remarks concerning some problems we have solved and explain why this policy is reasonable in the Dutch situation. Finally, I will try to explain this policy somewhat.
